Steel House is a co-working and maker space in Rockland, ME that provides an active community environment for artists, designers, creatives, and small businesses. I got involved with Steel House when it was undergoing a leadership transition and worked with the new leadership to redefine its positioning based on the needs of the community.
After renovating the space of the Headquarters, I took on a part-time position as operations manager, which involved creating campaigns to advertise the space’s offerings, organizing community events, and reaching out to local artists to put together gallery exhibitions, workshops, and fundraising pop-up shops.
