Whitehall 15

Boatbuilding
This 15ft Whitehall was a commissioned project I completed during my Boatbuilding Apprenticeship. Working closely with a fellow apprentice, we went through all the traditional steps of building a lapstrake wooden vessel, from lofting the hull, pulling patterns, and creating all the molds to planking, framing, and fitting a custom interior. The exterior of the boat was painted in high gloss topside marine paint, and the interior was fully varnished, per the client’s request. The boat was delivered to its owner in Lake Mohawk, New Jersey, upon completion.
